5×Study Buddy

Privacy Policy

Draft — last updated October 2026

Study Buddy is built for families. This draft policy explains what we collect and why. It will be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.

What we collect at signup

From parents: name and email address. For each child: first name, grade, a description of their math ability, any learning notes you choose to share, the email address questions should be sent to (yours or one you supervise), and optional pocket-money reward settings. We do not ask for surnames, birthdates or school details.

Parental consent

Only a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over can sign up, and they must explicitly consent to us storing their children's details and emailing the addresses they provide. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

How we use information

To personalize math questions, send explanations and prepare weekly progress updates for parents. We never sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your family's information at any time by replying to any Study Buddy email.
